The Angels lost another spring game in the late innings The Giants scored three times in the eighth off Francisco Rodriguez (flashback, anyone?) and beat the Angels, 5-3, Friday at Scottsdale Stadium.

Weaver touched up in Triple-A game
Angels right-hander Jered Weaver went six innings and threw 82 pitches in a Triple-A game against Oakland A’s minor-leaguers this afternoon. But he also gave up three home runs in that time.

Former broadcast partner honoring Markas
