The Yankees came to Anaheim looking to win their sixth consecutive series to open a season for the first time in franchise history. They left having lost two of three to the Angels after an 8-4 defeat Sunday afternoon.

Wilson X-rays reveal... nothing?
The Angels just announced that team doctor Lewis Yocum's  examination of catcher Bobby Wilson was inconclusive. Yocum couldn't get a good read on the X-ray because of extensive swelling in Wilson's ankle.
