The Angels fought back from three down to win 4-3 on Howie Kendrick’s bunt single in the ninth. The Angels took two-of-three games from Cleveland at Angel Stadium.
Mike Scioscia didn’t get to see much of Wednesday’s game from the dugout after a run-in with third base umpire Rob Drake got him ejected. Scioscia was upset at a called strike on Hideki Matsui in the second inning.

Howard Kendrick bunted home Torii Hunter with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to give the Angels the win over the Indians.

Angels third baseman Brandon Wood appears to be coming out of his season-opening funk, with six hits and his first homer in the two games leading up to Wednesday.
