April 28, 1994 the California Angels would lose to the Baltimore Orioles 4-2 at Anaheim Stadium. Sid Fernandez was the winning pitcher while John Dopson would take the loss for the Angels. In the game Chili Davis would hit his fourth home run in April. Davis had had two stints with the Angels, both times coming through free agency. The first time would be in the seasons where he averaged 18 home runs and 80 RBI's, then he would come back to the Angels for the seasons, averaging 25 home runs and 94 RBI's each season. In 1994, Davis would hit 26 home runs and have 84 RBI's in only 108 games as the 1994 season was cut short by the 1994 players strike. Davis would earn an All-Star selection that year, his only while playing with the Angels. Davis' time with the Angels still ranks him in the top 10 career on base percentage, slugging and OPS for Angel players.
