When a player takes the time to come out and meet the fans, it just makes you want to root for his success that much more. When that player is a rookie, working hard to make it to the Majors, you really want to see him do well. When that player is as humble and nice as Matt Oye, you can’t help but be drawn into following him throughout the year.

At the AngelsWin.com Spring Training Fanfest, we were lucky enough to meet Matt Oye. When we met him, Spring Training for the Minor League players was just beginning. Now, with three more weeks under his belt, AngelsWin.com caught up with Matt Oye to find out more about what it’s like to play in the Angels’ organization and what he has been up to.
