• Salt Lake: Kevin Jepsen blew a two-run lead in the ninth (his second blown save for the Bees) and now sports a lofty 7.00 ERA across seven games, nine innings pitched. Jeremy Berg (5.11) allowed two in the 12th, to end the Bees’ five-game winning streak. Jeremy Moore (.338) had two hits and Paul McAnulty (.300) doubled three times on the night.

• Arkansas: The game was postponed due to rain, AGAIN. Four out of the past five games have been rained out now. We need a MIKE TROUT UPDATE LIKE YESTERDAY!!!

• Inland Empire: Coming into Monday night's game 66ers had been in a four-game losing streak in which they had been outscored 47-6, but Angels starter Joel Pineiro who is rehabbing his way back to Anaheim pitched 5 2/3 innings, didn't allow an earned run, helping the 66'ers snap their losing streak in a 6-4 victory. Jean Segura (.348) snapped an 0 for 10 funk and went 2 for 5 with a run scored. Kole Calhoun  (.290, 3 HR) and Matt Long (.313, 2 HR) but went deep on the night.

• Cedar Rapids: Suammy Baez (4.34) pitched six innings solid innings, striking out six, allowing just one run, though he did walk three on the night. Travis Witherspoon (.220), has been in a terrible slump, going 3 for his last 27 went 0 for 2, but scored three runs and stole four bases (12).  Despite Witherspoon's recent slump, he's done a great job of getting on base (10 walks vs. 13 strikeouts). The Kernels backstop Carlos Ramirez  (.297) went 2 for 3 with a walk.
Love to hear what you think!
