By Danny Farris, AngelsWin.com Contributor -

Well, this is it folks. My last blog post from the MLB Fan Cave. Well, technically I'm traveling a bit, but you get what I mean. First and foremost, I want to thank all of YOU for all the support this year. It truly meant the world.

Second of all, let's make this a dynasty. Last year, Ricardo Marquez was a finalist in the Cave and got to go to the World Series. This year, I was lucky enough to win the whole thing. Next year, the whole thing changes. If you haven't seen yet, MTV and MLB are partnering up to create a weekly show filmed at the MLB Fan Cave. While it won't be a reality show featuring the Dwellers, it will be a tremendously different experience than what Ricardo and I did. You will still watch every single baseball game. You will still have ridiculous hours. But you will most likely get in front of a camera more often. People (outside of MLB) are saying that there's no way an Angels fan can make it next year. There's no way they will pick one of us three years in a row. Screw that. Be so good that they can't say no. It's a once in a lifetime experience that you won't regret. Baseball all day everyday, players coming in all the time, celebrities, concerts, random events, PLUS the TV show next year. It's growing and getting bigger and better.

I'm rambling. Again I want to thank you all for following along with my experience. Now that I'm finished, I'm going to head back to Southern California and figure out "the next steps." I have no idea what that will be, but I'm excited for it. If you have any questions about the Fan Cave or the application process, feel free to tweet me @StandardDanny (I got bored one night and changed my twitter name). Good luck to anybody who applies and I hope to see everybody around Angel Stadium next season!
Love to hear what you think!
