I'm a little miffed at why everyone is so enamored with Mike Trout. Sure he hit for a high average (but he played in 15 fewer games than the rest of the team) and had decent stolen bases, but his rbi numbers were not all that impressive and doesn't seem to possess raw power. Now compare him to his 2009 draft mate and teammate, Grichuk and what he did... there is no comparison. Gruchick hit .328, lead the team in HR, triples, and I believe doubles, and RBI's, too. He needs to get his SO's down, but the young man was clutch and was probably the highest impact player on the AZ Angels team.
Does anyone disagree? Am I missing something here?
Both are outstanding prospects but lets keep things in perspective.
