The Bad: The bullpen! With the Bees up late in the game 4-1, Bobby Cassevah (4.91) and Rafael Rodriguez (5.14) couldn't hold the lead and lost the game for O'Sullivan.
The Noteworthy: Hank Conger's only error on the season so far was a catchers interference call. Hank also gunned down Ezequiel Carrera trying to steal on Monday night. Ezequiel Carrera was also gunned down by Terry Evans trying to take third base on a base hit.
Arkansas Travelers
Box Score
The Good: Ryan Mount (.257) clubbed three hits on the night, driving in two runs. Jordan Walden pitched another scoreless inning of relief. Walden has struck out seven in four scoreless innings of work, giving up just three hits.
The Bad: The Defense! The Travelers gave up four errors on the night, including three by 2B Ryan Mount (two fielding errors and one bad throw).
The Noteworthy: Amalio Diaz who is repeating Double-A seems to have found a comfort level pitching out of the bullpen. Diaz who sported a 3.65 ERA last season with the Travelers splitting time as a reliever and starter has a 2.08 ERA in both short and long relief thus far in 2010.
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
Box Score
The Good: Tyler Chatwood won his first game of the season (1-1, 1.80 ERA), going five innings, giving up two runs on six his. Chatwood fanned three and walked three. Ryan Kiniry (.257) clubbed his 2nd home run on the season off Padres 2008 #1 pick Nick Schmidt. DH Roberto Lopez who has seen time at 1B and Catcher this season for the Quakes, went 2-4 with a walk and RBI -- upped his batting average to .318 on the season. Gabe Jacobo (.333) went 0-3, but walked twice and scored a run.
The Bad: LF Angel Castillo (.195), C Beau Brooks (.133) and SS Darwin Perez (.229) are all off to slow starts.

Cedar Rapids Kernels
Box Score
The Good: Luis Jimenez just went 1-5 on the day for the Kernels, but his one hit, won the game for them. Jimenez drove in three runs in the top of the 10th inning with a bases-loaded triple to give the Cedar Rapids Kernels a 6-3 win over Kane County. Tyler Skaggs (0.90) pitched five scoreless innings, fanning six. Jon Hellweg pitched a scoreless ninth, striking out the side to earn his second save on the season. Mike Trout (.370) went 1-3 with an RBI.
The Bad: In an effort to get all of the Kernels starters some innings and reduce their workload this season, the Angels will have starting pitchers start the game sometimes and then finish the game, much like what they had planned for Fabio-Mesa Martinez yesterday after Skaggs was finished. Martinez however got worked over as he battled control problems for the first time this season. Martinez walked four, gave up three earned runs on just two hits. Martinez was able to get just two outs (one via the strikeout) before handing the ball over to David Carpenter.
The Noteworthy: The Kernels team ERA is third in the league (2.95) and tied for third in the league with 107 strikeouts. Pat Corbin (2-0, 2.08 ERA) takes on Wisconsin today.
*Prospect of the Day: Sean O'Sullivan, SP Salt Lake Bees
