In 2009, he hit .276 with 15 doubles, three triples, four homeruns, 36 RBI and 23 stolen bases for Salt Lake. The Euclid, Ohio native was originally selected by the Angels in the 15th round of the 2005 draft.

Arkansas Travelers
Box Score

The Good: The story so far this season has been Michael Kohn, Jordan Walden and Ryan Aldridge . After Walden's scoreless frame last night, it was Aldridge and Kohn's turn to shine tonight, despite the loss.  Ryan Aldrige pitched an inning and 2/3 of scoreless, no hit ball, striking out four. Kohn pitched a scoreless ninth inning without giving up a hit and striking out two Frisco Roughriders. Southpaw Jayson Miller (3.60) pitched five solid innings of work, giving up three runs, none earned.

The Bad: The Offense! The Arkansas Travelers have a Texas League's worst slugging percentage at (.303). They're second to last in team batting average too with a .216 line. That's bad folks.

The Noteworthy: While the Travelers have stunk it up on offense, the team pitching overall is not bad with a 3.77 staff ERA and second in the Texas League with strikeouts at 97.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
Box Score

The Good: Dillon Baird busted out on Tuesday night, going 3-3 with a double and two home runs (3). Baird also walked on the night and after a slow start, upped his batting average to .255. Darwin Perez also had a good night, going 2-4 with a two-run home run. Alexi Amarista (.340) went 2-5 with a double. 2B Ivan Contreras hit a two-run pinch hit triple to help the Quakes win 8-5 on Tuesday night. Robert Fish has yet to allow a run on the season, fanned four hitters through two scoreless innings of relief. Chris Scholl  (1.35) closed the game out with scoreless ninth, earning his first save on the season.
The Bad: Alexi Amarista was caught trying to steal a base for the 5th time on the season versus two successful stolen bags.

The Noteworthy: The win for the Quakes (7-6) puts them in first place by a half-game over High Desert in the South Division. They look to make it a three-game sweep over the Storm on Wednesday, sending Matt Shoemaker (1-1) to the mound against Lake Elsinore's Erik Davis (0-1).

Cedar Rapids Kernels

Carlos Ramirez (.281) went 1-3 but walked twice. Jon Bachanov (2.08) won his first game on the season by pitching 2 1/3 scoreless innings, fanning five.

The Bad: Pat Corbin was worked up pretty good, giving up six runs on ten hits in six and two thirds innings of work.

The Noteworthy: Southpaw Pat Corbin picked off three runners on first base for the Kernels on Tuesday. The lefty has an Andy Pettitte type move to first.
