This Day in Angels Baseball: April 18th, 2000

April 18, 2000 the Anaheim Angels would beat the Toronto Blue Jays 16-10 at the Skydome. Adam Kennedy would go 4-5 in the game with a triple and grand slam, driving in 8. At the time it matched the team record for runs batted in by an Angel player before it would later be broken by Garrett Anderson's 10 in one game and it was the most RBI by any rookie in one game since Fred Lynn drove in 10 for the Red Sox  in 1975. 2000 would be Kennedy's first year with the Angels coming over with Kent Bottenfield in a trade with St. Louis for Jim Edmonds. In 2002 Kennedy would hit 3 home runs in game 5 of the ALCS against the Twins, earning him ALCS MVP that year.
