Salt Lake Bees
Box Score

The Good: Michael Ryan clubbed two doubles on the night. He's currently hitting .368 for the Bees. Mark Trumbo (.311) went 1-3 with a walk and RBI.

The Bad: Francisco Rodriguez gave up four runs in two innings of work and has posted a 7.59 ERA to date. The other Rodriguez, Fernando, who was the best reliever in the Texas League last season posting a 1.28 ERA in 28 games, has given up 17 hits and 10 runs in 10 innings of work for the Bees. 

The Noteworthy: Trevor Reckling starts tonight against Sacramento. This will be a good test for Trevor as the Oakland A's Triple-A affiliate is a good hitting club.

Arkansas Travelers
Box Score

The Good: Andrew Romine had three knocks on the night (all singles) and has increased his batting average to .346 from the leadoff spot after Tuesday's game. Romine has a solid .426 OBP and though he has some speed, he's been caught  stealing five times already out of nine attempts. Outfielders Julio Perez  .256) and Jeremy Moore  (.229) both had two hits a piece on the day. Tim Kiely (5.72) pitched a complete game (8 innings) and gave up just one earned run in a losing cause.

The Bad: It has been a tough start to the 2010 season for third baseman Jay Brossman who is hitting just .127 on the season. Brossman went 0-4 on Tuesday with two strikeouts.

The Noteworthy: Ryan Braiser who pitched a no hitter in his last start is getting roughed up this morning against Tulsa. Braiser has given up six runs on eight hits in 3 1/3 innings of work.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
Box Score

The Good: Outfielder Angel Castillo went 1-3 on the night, hitting his 2nd home run of the season. Both Roberto Lopez (.379) and Alexi Amarista (.375) had a knock each. Andrew Taylor and Jose Perez both pitched two scoreless innings a piece.

The Bad: Manaurys Correa (0-4) was torched, giving up five runs on eight hits in just 3 1/3 innings of work.

The Noteworthy: Japanese catcher Ikko Sumi (.308) started in just his third game of the season and had a hit in three at bats.

Cedar Rapids Kernels
Box Score

The Good: Mike Trout notched a hit and a walk in five trips to the plate, stealing his 14th base of the season. Jean Segura, Eric Oliver and Casey Haerther had two hits a piece.

The Bad: Garrett Richards fanned six through six and 2/3 innings, but he also gave up five runs on eight hits.

The Noteworthy: Fabio Mesa Martinez (3.98) takes the hill tonight against the Peoria Chiefs fresh off his combined no hitter effort last Friday.
