May 6, 1964 the Los Angeles Angels beat the Minnesota Twins 4-3 at Metropolitan Stadium. Jim Fregosi would hit a pinch hit three run home run in the top of the seventh and Bob Lee would pitch 1.2 innings for the save. Bob Lee would play for the Angels from 1964-1966 going 20-16 with a 1.99 ERA and 58 saves. Lee would have a 1.51 ERA in 1964 appearing in 40 games that year which is among the Angels lowest single season totals.
