Raves:
That was more like it at the plate. Everyone pretty much joined in the fun.
Matsui looks like himself again, 18 for the past 37 with 6 doubles, 2 homers, and 12 rbis, plus 6 BBs along with 7 Ks.
Kendrick is finally hitting again, 17 for his past 34.
Callaspo continues to get hits and is hitting over .330 since being acquired, and is 16 for his past 36.
Bourjos has hit in 6 of his past 7 games (7 for 24 = nearly .300) with 3 XBHs and just 4 Ks in that time.
Haren gave up another homer, but settled down after that leadoff homer and shut the Rays out otherwise for 6 innings.
The defense had another solid game, except for Mathis' PB.
K-Rod 2.0 continues to pitch solidly.
Shields has had a few decent outings lately.
Overall, a great game that was sorely needed.
Rants:
Why can't the Halos hit with any consistency though? They are up and down more often than horses on a carousel.
One of these types of games is usually followed by several clunkers.
The maddening thing about the Halos bullpen is it's up and down nature as well.
Only Fuentes has shown ANY consistency for more than 3-4 weeks at a time.
Jepsen violates the tenet of one-sided games, walking his first batter! What is up with that Jepsen?
