Overall I feel pretty good about this team. The offense has cooled off and there are some significant concerns, but it seems like a balanced group with no terrible weaknesses, and it also seems to have recaptured a bit the "Scioscia" magic off winning close games.
I still expect 85-90 wins, but I also could see a scenario where the squad really gels and a few players have breakouts, leading to 90-95 wins and a possible playoff berth. The Rangers look really good but aren't unbeatable and have already lost their best player for a couple months (unfortunately for my fantasy team).
Even if the Angels don't win the division, it should be an enjoyable year watching Howie Kendrick have a real break out year, Conger and Bourjos develop, Weaver and Haren duke it out for best pitcher on the team, Kendrys come back, the young relievers blossom, and eventually Trout's debut. Should be a good season!
