When you are around Angels Stadium, one of the most approachable and most humorous veteran player that you can encounter is Clyde Wright. With 87 career wins as an Angel, Clyde holds the record for the most wins by a left-handed starter with 22 in one season. Clyde’s best year came in 1970 when he pitched a no-hitter on July 3rd. Selected as an All-Star that year (his only selection as such), Clyde claim to fame from that game was that he was the losing pitcher of record.
