Los Angeles Angels Prospect Report - April 28

• Salt Lake: The Bees and the entire PCL had the day off.

• Arkansas: Off Rockies southpaw prospect Christian Friedrich, Mike Trout (.305) went 3 for 6 with two doubles, a triple and two runs scored. Luis Jimenez (.281) went 2 for 3 with three RBI's. Garret Richards (2-0, 3.91) pitched six innings, allowed two runs, struck out four and walked three.

• Inland Empire: Jean Segura (.364) led off the game with a homer and then later homered again for a three-run shot. It was Segura's first two homers on the season, flashing both power and speed in the game, stealing two bases (7, 8) as well. Kole Calhoun (.319) had three hits and Casey Haerther (.268) had four on the night. Starter Jeremy Haynes (9.39)  gave up four runs in five innings, walked four but struck out eight.

• Cedar Rapids: 3B Jeremy Cruz (.304) clubbed two doubles and drove in three runs, Travis Witherspoon (.250) went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI & reliever Donny Roach (1.38)  hurled three perfect innings of relief work, fanning four.
