Mark Trumbo and I have two things in common: We both went to Villa Park High School and we both idolized the same baseball player growing up. But, that's pretty much where the similarities between us end. Trumbo plays first base for the Angels and is having a superb season. He's arguably the Angels' team MVP. There are thoughts that if he continues producing at the same level, that he will win the Rookie of the Year award. If he does, it will be well deserved, and the first for the Angels since Tim Salmon.
