AngelsWin.com 2012 Softball Draft

On July 28th at 9:00 AM PST, AngelsWin.com members, our awesome followers from our twitter/facebook pages and special guests Angels play-by-by announcer Victor Rojas, FoxSportsWest Chris McGee, AM830's Jason Brennan and a few more surprises will all embark upon the fields at Pioneer Park in Anaheim, CA to go head to head in a softball match. 

There will be four teams, four team captains and three games. The winner of the two morning games will face off in a 4 inning championship contest right after the first two games have ended. Steel Morris has secured the field for us and will be present, along with a DJ for some PBP and commentary. 

Donations for playing are required, but there's no minimum entry cost to play. Remember though, all of the proceeds to use the field will go toward the OC Miracle League, Steel Morris' charity for special needs kids to have a field to play baseball right next to the field we'll be playing on. I will have a donation bucket for you to put your money in when you arrive. 

Please arrive anywhere from 8:30 to 9:00 am PST the latest so you can stretch out, warm up and get your game faces on! The first two games will be six innings, with a mercy rule of 20 runs. Each team must have at least one female and a child/teenager on its team. More rules will be announced the morning of the game, but they will be pretty standard for softball. 

The team captains are: AngelsWin.com Founder & Executive Editor Chuck Richter, Senior Writer Adam Dodge, Columnist Brian Waller and forum contributor Mark Suzuki.
