Trout, 20, leads the American League with a .341 (88-for-258) batting average and 26 steals for the Angels while Angels outfielder Mark Trumbo boasts a sick .306/.358/.608 slash line, with 22 Trumbombs and 57 runs batted in.
#44 made it to the second round tonight in the home run derby, his first of the slugger's bright career, edging out other All-Star greats, but failed to beat Jose Bautista in the five pitch pitchoff.
But that's OK people, he represented the Angels well and powered some of the longest home runs on the evening in front of a national audience and there's a good shot he'll knock one out tomorrow evening for the American League.
There's been a ton of posts on the internet, Tweets on Twitter and news articles on what Angels fans are calling the T.N.T. boys in Trumbo and Trout, so instead of providing you something you've already read I created this video to let Trumbo and Trout do the talking -- With their bats, gloves and legs.
