The Angels struck early and struck often in their 12-run margin rout of the Yankees. The Halos hit four home runs including Albert Pujols’ 501st in the fifth and Erick Aybar’s three-run punch in the seventh. In all the Angles gathered 16 hits behind starter C.J. Wilson as he allowed just one run on four hits over six complete innings.
