• Salt Lake: You know you're going good when you go 2 for 5 on the night and your batting average drops to .447. Both Jeremy Moore (.340) and Andrew Romine (.239) had two hits apiece. Kevin Jepsen blew the game in the eighth, only to see the Bees comeback and win the contest 8-7 over the Las Vegas 51s. Michael Kohn (3.60) pitched 2/3 of an inning of scoreless relief work and Jeremy Berg (4.15) preserved the game with his first save on the season for the Bees.

• Arkansas: Sorry readers, no Mike Trout updates today. The Travelers had the day off on Wednesday.

• Inland Empire: The 66'ers were shutout and lost 10-0 on Wednesday. I wish there was more to report, but there isn't. Well, that's not entirely true. Reliever Mike Pizza threw two hitless/scoreless innings of relief work, striking out four.

• Cedar Rapids: The Kernels had a double dipper on Wednesday and the pitching dominated, allowing just  one run on the day. Daniel Tillman hurled five shutout innings, striking out five and walking three while allowing two hits. Travis Witherspoon stole his eighth base on the season out of ten attempts and drove in two runs. Carlos Ramirez who is repeating Low-A this season hit his second homer of the and has posted .241/.452/.483 line thus far.
