• Salt Lake: The Bees won again, 12-9 over the 51s and are now tied for first place with the Reno Aces. Alexi Amarista had a couple more knocks (2-4) with a double and is now batting .454 on the season. 1B Efren Navarro went 4 for 5, Paul McAnulty 3 for 3 and Tyson Auer 2 for 6 with a double from the leadoff spot. Jeremy Berg (4.50) saved his second straight game, though he did give up a late inning run.
• Arkansas: The game was postponed due to rain. Back to Back days without a Mike Trout update. What will we do with ourselves?
• Inland Empire: Much of the same for the 66'ers who are still without their top player Jean Segura due to an injury (confirming what type of injury that is today). Dillon Baird, arguably their second best hitter was promoted to the Travelers a few days ago too. Consequently, the 66'ers could only muster three runs in their last two games and have lost both contests by a total of 24-3.
• Cedar Rapids: Andrew Heid had two hits in the leadoff spot, including his fourth stolen base on the season. He's hitting .305 on the young season. The Kernels outfielder out of Pepperdine David Harris clubbed a homer and drove in three runs. Brian Diemer (1.54) threw six innings scoreless innings and earned his first win on the season. Diemer was the Angels sixth round pick last year.
