Interview Conducted By David Saltzer - AngelsWin.com Senior Writer
If the name Brandon Lodge sounds familiar to you, it should. That's because he's a local kid (Tesoro high school) drafted out of UCLA in 2011. As a player, he's a right-handed reliever with a mix in his arsenal to keep hitters on their toes. He thrives on the excitement of coming into a game during critical situations, especially if he can shut the opposition down.

AngelsWin.com recently caught up with Brandon to learn more about him as a person and as a player. What we found is a guy doing well (3.60 ERA at Orem--a hard league for pitchers), who recently got promoted up to Cedar Rapids. We talked a lot about life in the Minor Leagues, playing for coach Kotchman, and what his walk-in music will be when he makes it to Anaheim. He was a great person to interview, and watching this is well worth every Angels fan's time.

And, if you still have a bit of deja vu about Brandon's name, that's because you should have that feeling. His father, Roger, is the host of the SportsLODGE heard on AM 830 every weekday morning from 7:00 am until 10 am.
