It's hard to imagine what it's like to be 21 years old. For those of us past it, those bygone days seem so long ago and carefree. For those not yet there, it seems so distant.
Few may ever get to experience a year like the one Mike Trout has had. To say it is phenomenal is an understatement. Historical? Definitely.
As much as the fans and press love to extoll the wonder that is Mike Trout, it's still another thing to be recognized by his peers as the Angels' Team MVP. With veterans doing all they can to help the club, the fact that they recognize how integral he is to the team says a lot more.
AngelsWin.com sat down with Mike Trout for an interview on the night he was named the Team MVP to see if he has had time to reflect on all that he has accomplished in the season. We asked if he has had a moment to bask in the glory. And, we talked briefly about what he plans on doing in the offseason.
