Interview conducted by David Saltzer and Rick Dykhuizen
One of the joys of following the Angels Minor League season is getting to know the players and watching them develop. Game by game, month by month, season by season, they work on their craft, refine their skills, and improve their game.
To give fans a sense of how they improve, we re-interviewed Harrison Cooney to find out how he has improved and transformed himself over the course of a season. When we first interviewed Harrison (which fans can see here), he had just come to the Orem Owlz after being taken in the 6th round of the 2013 draft. He was so new to the team, that they didn't even have a photo of him posted!
Over the course of the season, Harrison showed real promise, which is why the Angels picked him so highly. His stats don't tell the complete story. As Harrison tells us in the interview, he wants to get back to being a starter, but was on a limit for the season.
