June 9: Athletics 1 - Angels 4
The Angels chipped away for four runs, just two of them earned as the Halos capitalized on three Oakland errors and a hit batsman. Garrett Richards delivered an exceptional performance, surrendering just one earned run on four hits while fanning four over seven innings. Joe Smith and Ernesto Frieri combined to slam the door, striking out five of the six hitters they faced.

June 10: Athletics 1 - Angels 2 (14 innings)
It was a 14-inning contest that consumed 396 pitches, 12 pitchers, and 103 plate appearances. Hector Santiago, making his first start since May 11th, pitched six masterful shutout innings. The Halos scored in the sixth but Oakland matched in the eighth. With the score knotted and with two out in the bottom of the 14th, Collin Cowgill delivered a solo walk-off home run for the win.

June 11: Athletics 7 - Angels 1
The Angels could not complete the sweep of their division rival Oakland A’s. Jered Weaver tossed 104 pitches in 5 1/3 innings, allowing six hits and four earned runs, including a two-run home run by the A’s Stephen Vogt. The Halos managed to scatter ten hits and score one run, but left nine runners on base and batted just 1-9 with RISP.
