Salt Lake - There really isn't anything to report out of Salt Lake unless you want to see Willits (2-3 with a BB). Paul McAnulty went 2-4... Jason Bulger and 24 year old Ryan Brasier had perfect innings in relief of Anthony Ortega who was shelled. Brasier hasn't allowed a run in his last 4 appearances.

Arkansas - Day off

Inland Empire - The 66ers had a natural doubleheader on Tuesday. In game uno, Ariel Pena picked up his 10th win going 7 innings allowing 1 run, striking out 8, but walking 4. Offensively there were a lot of 1-3's from the older players such as Adam Younger, Eric Oliver and Steven Irvine. In game 2, offensive stars Kole Calhoun and Carlos Ramirez shined. Calhoun went 2-3 with 2 more RBIs and another walk. Carlos Ramirez came in for the injured Jose Jimenez and blasted his 3rd home run of the year, but the bullpen blew it and the 66ers took the loss.

Cedar Rapids - Day off

Orem - 20 year old lefty Ryan Crowley tossed a good game today going 5 innings only allowing 1 run while striking out 4 and walking none. This lowered his ERA to below 5. Taylor Lindsey continues to hit, smoking his 20th and 21st double of the year raising his average to .365. Newly called up from the AZL catcher Kyle Mahoney went 1-4 in his Owlz debut.

AZL Angels - Nothing much to report here either. 2 of the 4 hits came from one guy (Andrew Workman out of ASU). The only bright spot on the pitching side was 22 year old lefty Stephen Tromblee. He has a 3.05 ERA and a very good 20/3 K:BB ratio.

DSL Angels - Game cancelled.

Sorry folks, just a crappy night to be an Angels' fan.
Love to hear what you think!
